TRANSNET UNTU MEMBERS: FOLLOW YOUR WAGE NEGOTIATIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

The Leadership of the United National Transport Union (UNTU) decided to enable our members to follow the developments in the Transnet Wage Negotiations as it happens, when it resumes on 6 November, at the Transnet Bargaining Council.

Wyndham Evans, President of UNTU, says he wants each member to be kept updated of what is happening from the venue, where the collective bargaining between UNTU, the majority Union in Transnet and SATAWU as organised labour and the employer, will be taking place.

Organised labour will table their consolidated wage demand on Monday to the employer.

To follow the process as it unfolds blow by blow, go and like UNTU’s Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/UNTUSA/ or follow us on Twitter at @HeadofficeUntu

For those who don’t have access to social media, frequent circular letters will be sent out.

Issued on behalf of UNTU by Sonja Carstens, Media and Liaison Officer. For UNTU Press Statements phone 082 463 6806 or e-mail sonja@untu.co.za.
