The Arbitration of the Management dispute regarding the Remuneration Policy for the year 2019/2020, took place today 15/4/2021, via a virtual Zoom meeting, Case no GAJB21259-19.
The Commissioner Mr Ronnie Bracks was appointed to hear the case at the CCMA Regional Office, Johannesburg.
UNTU declared a new dispute for the year 2020/2021, a decision was made to send case GAJB21259-19 to the CCMA Head Office as it is the same and both are National disputes.
UNTU will request a Con/Arb as to finalise this urgent issue as soon as possible.
All indications are that the case will be heard in the week of 22 May 2021. UNTU will do its utmost best to expedite this case. Management agreed to combine the 2019/2020 and 2020/20221 cases.
