The United National Transport Union (UNTU) is deeply disturbed to have learned that certain individuals in Kwa-Zulu-Natal, formerly associated with Credit Rescue, have now resorted to pretending that they are employed and/or represent this Union, are willing and able to assist members in debt and can assist with providing them #UNTU discounts when buying new cars from Ford and Hyundai.
Please be warned that if the allegations made by our members about these individuals who also allege that they have UNTU offices in Richards Bay are true, they are busy committing fraud.
UNTU would like to appeal to any members who have been approached by NELLY PROMISE ZULU and ZINNE HAPPYNESS MHLAULI and were informed that they work for Credit Rescue, Ford, Hyundai or UNTU to come forward and report their conduct to Sonja Carstens, Media, Liaison and Communication Officer, at enquiries@untu.co.za or on 082 463 6806.
These two ladies were banned from Credit Rescue with immediate effect last week.
Credit Rescue informed UNTU and the Union issued a statement to warn our members on 28 November 2017.
If you want to make use of the facilities of Credit Rescue, rather phone Credit Rescue directly on (021) 425 7721 or e-mail helpme@credit-rescue.co.za and indicate that you are an UNTU member.
To utilise UNTU discounts on new cars, UNTU members need to work through New Vehicle Sales Executive, Ilze Botha at Hyundai Wonderboom or Evert Crafford, New Vehicle Sales Executive at Aurinia Ford and email either of them a copy of your UNTU membership card. Your vehicle will be delivered to your nearest Hyundai or Ford branch depending on which new vehicle is bought.
For Hyundai Mrs. Botha can be contacted at salespta3@hyundai.co.za, 082 372 7928/ 012 543 0649 or Fax: 0862 149 348.
