After careful consideration the Executive Council of the United National Transport Union (UNTU), decided to adjust the union’s membership fee.
The membership fee will remain 1% of the member basic pay.
Minimum increases from R43 per month to R46 per month.
- Maximum increases from R75 per month to R81 per month.
The adjustments will be from 1 April 2017 and will be deducted from member`s salaries at the end of April 2017.
UNTU remains the Union in the Transport Sector with the lowest membership fee. Unfortunately, a minimal adjustment to our membership fee is necessary to ensure that UNTU can deliver efficient services to our members.
