Transnet has issued a Memo Communique to all employees in respect of Compulsory Leave that has to be taken over the December period of 2016.
UNTU has through Senior Council applied to the Labour Court to obtain an urgent Court Interdict against Transnet to prohibit them to proceed.
The matter has been set down for the 20th of October 2016 in the Labour Court.
UNTU will keep members informed of the progress in this regard once we have obtained the Labour Court Ruling.
