A special concession has been made for those members who terminated their membership with UNTU to join another Union.
It has been decided that should a former UNTU member re-join UNTU from date of this letter up until 31 October 2016, the membership of such individual will reflect as continuous membership to retain all UNTU benefits available.
This concession must not be seen as a precedent created, but purely as a gesture of goodwill to entice those members who left UNTU and wishes to re-join.
