The United National Transport Union (UNTU) would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the Zulu Nation, after the passing of His Majesty King Goodwill Zwelithini ka Bhekuzulu, King of the Zulu Nation.
Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, traditional prime minister to the Zulu Monarch, announced in a statement that His Majesty’s health took a turn for the worst and he subsequently passed away in the early hours of this morning.
The Zulu king was admitted to ICU in a private hospital last month after “several unstable glucose readings”.
We pray that God will comfort the Zulu Nation and especially the Royal Family.
May his soul rest in peace.
