The case no: – J136720 was lodged today on an urgent basis at the Labour Court and has been set down for Friday 27 November 2020 at 10H00.
UNTU took this serious step in the best interest of its members as expectations have been created that the 2020 – 2023 Wage Agreement would be implemented in November 2020 and that the back pay would have been paid out on an off cycle run.
The Wage Agreement consisting of a 3-year wage agreement with an increase of 5% per year was signed in good faith by both parties after we received a clear mandate and management confirmed that they were mandated to sign the agreement.
We ensure members that they will be kept abreast of the progress in this regard.
