The United National Transport Union (UNTU) invites all our members to participate in our annual recruitment competition starting from today, 14 October 2020, to midnight 14 December 2020.
All UNTU members stand a chance to win R10 000 if you are able to recruit the most new members in any of the business units, Transnet, the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, the Railway Safety Regulator or the South African Maritime Safety Authority.
The second runner up will win R8 000 and the third runner-up will win R5 000.
The winners will be announced on 15 December 2020.
The competition is open to all, excluding the Executive Council of UNTU and Staff of the Union.
Members must recruit no less than five (5) new members to have their names entered into the biweekly lucky draw where you can win R1 000 for the duration of the two consecutive months of the competition.
The UNTU canvassing fee of R100 per new member and R50 for contract workers will also apply.
