The Extension of the Transnet Engineering Variation Agreement was extended
to 30 April 2020. It has subsequently been agreed by Labour and Management that a further
Extension on the Variation Agreement be given until 31 May 2020.
The Extension of the Variation Agreement until 31 May 2020, could not be signed by both parties,
due to the current COVID-19 Lockdown Regulations and will be made available to all constituents as
soon as an opportunity arises for the signing thereof.
Members will be kept informed as soon as Labour and Management have established a date to
further engage on the Variation Agreement.
Be rest assured that no New Agreement has been signed.
