It is confirmed that “Essential Services” will be working in this time. “Essential Services” in PRASA is “Protection Services”. All other grades are not classified as “Essential Services”.
Therefore no one will be allowed to work, depending on the determination of the Minister of Transport, other grades may also be required to work.
It is confirmed that all employees not working in this time of Lock Down, 26 March 2020, midnight, and 16 April 2020 midnight will be paid their normal salaries.
Management could unfortunately not change the date of salary payment , therefore pay day will be 27 March 2020.
There will be communication from this office during the Lock Down period, should any drastic changes surface.
