It is with great sadness that the United National Transport Union (UNTU) must extend our sincerest condolences to two of our Organisers, Cando Tlhaole and Alfred Mthethwa, who both lost a parent this week.
Cando’s father (80) passed away on Tuesday afternoon and Alfred’s mother (87) passed away on Wednesday morning, after a long battle with cancer.
“We will keep Cando and Alfred in our prayers and pray that the Lord be with them and comfort them in this difficult time,” says Steve Harris, General Secretary.
They both will be laid to rest on Saturday 21 October 2017.
